Hey, I'm Ellie.

I’ve always had a camera in my hands — literally since I was ten years old, when I quietly borrowed my mom’s camera and never quite gave it back. Something about looking through a viewfinder felt like magic to me. Suddenly, ordinary moments became little treasures — light falling through a window, a laugh between siblings, a dog mid-zoomies in the backyard. Photography quickly became my way of preserving the world exactly as I saw it.

Growing up in the Midwest, where wide skies and familiar spaces shaped my sense of home, I learned early on to appreciate simple beauty, authentic connection, and storytelling that comes from the heart. Those roots still show up in my work today — in the way I chase real emotion, quiet details, and images that feel like memories.

Eventually, life led me to the Pacific Northwest. Now I call Seattle home, surrounded by the kind of scenery that feels like it was made for a creative soul — misty trails, ocean air, towering evergreens, and mountains that make you pause. Here, my photography found new depth. I fell in love with documenting people and pets in settings that reflect them: adventurous, tender, playful, grounded.

Photography has never just been something I do — it’s part of who I am. It’s how I connect, how I create, and how I honor the fleeting moments we so often overlook. Whether I’m working with families, couples, pets, or nature itself, my approach is simple: make people feel at ease, notice what others miss, and capture the genuine goodness already there.

If you’re looking for someone who sees beauty in authenticity — muddy paws, windblown hair, laughter that turns into tears — I’d love to get to know you. Thanks for being here, for supporting small creative journeys, and for considering me to tell a piece of your story.

Let’s make something beautiful together.
